What is CVAP Counselling?
The Crime Victim Assistance Program (CVAP) provides funding for counselling, treatment, and support services to victims of violent crime in British Columbia. Examples of violent crimes include, but not limited to:
- Assault or robbery
- Domestic violence
- Sexual assault or harassment
- Threats, stalking, or harassment
- Other violent incidents that cause emotional or psychological trauma
